What We Want To Do.

To help the Afghan families build capacity.  To build resiliency and sustainability enabling them to set up an enterprise that will not only produce food and income to cover their shelter, heat and medical needs; but to sustain for the nutrition and care of their children.

The Next Steps.

Priority One: is to keep the family together and to get them sheltered with food.  Many are aged, sick, disabled and homeless.  Winter is coming with temperatures dropping to a critical -17 there.  Their survival and well being is our immediate focus with a need to raise immediate funds.  Can you help us?

  • $100 Will buy formula, diapers, and blankets
  • $150 Will feed a family of 5 for one month
  • $200 Will shelter a family of 5 for one month

We need donations.  No amount is too little or too small.  And every bit of your funds will help a woman, family, or her child.

Priority Two: is to help them launch a Community Based or Home Based farm operations in raising poultry livestock and eggs.  From there, we will add mushroom farming and bee keeping.  Our beneficiaries will learn how to raise, care for, and market their livestock and produce and be able to feed their families and have the income to cover their rents, heat, and medical costs.

Our Impact.

Your Gift of Life plays a vital role in Afghanistan’s growth of its economy and development.  Education is a key element in building capacity.  Your funding of our workshops also provides the materials and supplies to ensure food security and to promote sustainable development.  Programs on Home-based Farming, Community Farms and Tower Farming provides families a source of income to cover their costs of food, heat and shelter.  This allows families to remain together, reducing the homeless population, while learning new skills and assisting in environmental conservation.
