Bibi Hawa was born in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
In her early age, she lost her father, she lives with her mother Zainab, her sister Asma and with her grandmother. The family has no living male family member which made them become homeless. They lived on the street of Helmand, begging for food.

When Bibi Hawa is laughing, running or crying, she turns cyanotic because of her heart condition. Her body is lack of oxygen-rich blood.

Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is a persistent opening between the two major blood vessels leading from the heart.
