EXPERIENCE
Lyndell is a dairy and livestock farmer. He is currently semi-retired, with a small beef cattle farm operation (Cow/Calf herd) near Harrisonburg, Virginia. He served as an Assistant Manager and handled Field Sales & Service (crops and feed) with the Rockingham Cooperative in Woodstock, VA; served as a Territory Sales Manager/Crops for Southern States Winchester Cooperative in Winchester, VA.; was a Dairy Farm Owner & Manager of Backroad Dairy, managing all aspects of dairy farm business in New Castle, VA.; and Dairy Farm Herdsman for Robert Keffer Dairy in New Castle.
Lyndell also ran two sole proprietorships as a Contractor, doing General Remodel, Design, & Build work; and was a self-employed Dealer for Hardy Manufacturing, Inc. of Philadelphia, MS selling, installing and servicing wood burning heaters. He was an independent Insurance Agent with Smyth Country Insurance Company in Marion VA from 1994 to 2007, selling new policies, servicing existing accounts, and handling claims as a Claims Adjuster.
