What We Do - Our Mission

Our mission and focus are to provide medical care services needed by “at-risk” Afghan women and children (emergency procedures, surgeries and other medical treatments)
Background information
Since the fall of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (2021), the country is experiencing the worst humanitarian crises in its history. Millions are starving, not having access to basic services and the security situation is extremely fragile. International sanctions cut off most of the foreign aid provided to the local healthcare service.

Public hospitals has difficulties providing special surgical procedures due to the lack of professionals, equipment, and medicines. And even if they are able to perform, the waiting lists are long.

Several groups of the society have become outlawed, persecuted and fear captivity and/or execution. Their access to medical care has become limited due to security risk.
